On Aug. 14, a 7.2 magnitude earthquake hit Haiti's southwestern peninsula, home to roughly 16% of the country's population. The very next day, the same area was hit by Tropical Storm Grace, which dumped 10 to 15 inches of rain. All this just weeks after the country's president was assassinated and elections were delayed.
